That puts Cincinnati in good position heading into next year, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. Yes, stalwarts like Brendon Kay and Austen Bujnoch are departing. But the Bearcats top three running backs return, as do three offensive line starters and a couple more rotation regulars. Then there are the receivers where six of the eight most targeted players are coming back.
The continuity will serve everyone well as the Bearcats break in a likely new starter, be it Gunner Kiel or Bennie Coney, or even possibly a returned and healthy Munchie Legaux. To my mind, this is unequivocally good news. What is your take.
