The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team looks to extend its winning streak to three games this weekend. UC faces a tough home court, in-conference test at St. Ursula Academy.

The 11-7 Bearcats (3-2 AAC) go head to head with the 7-10 Memphis Tigers (2-2 AAC) on Sunday January 21st at 1 PM.

The game will be televised online on GoBearcats.com.

Cincinnati comes into this game hot on the heels of consecutive conference wins over Houston and Temple.

Memphis hammered Tulsa 69-48 on the road last Saturday. The Tigers are led by 6’1 junior forward Cheyenne Creighton, who is averaging 16.0 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. She is one of the AAC’s top low-post players.

Senior guard Brea Elmore, who leads the Tigers in assists and averages nearly 15 points per game, is a remarkable athlete. She has an explosive first step and is one of the conference’s best leapers.

Cincinnati will need to contain Creighton and Elmore to score a third consecutive conference win.
