Jones 1st Class UC's best ever

What makes this recruiting class UC's best ever? Is it Jones' ability to ercruit, his diligence, or other factors such as current state of the roster? Will some of these recruits expect to play right away? Should they? Does basketball success help?
Cincinnati has nice facilities with the exception of the stadium. Nippert has ambience galor, but little else. The training faciltiies and practice bubble are both plusses.
Off hand I would have to say that Jones must be doing a better job than hsi predecessors.

I was going to wait until signing day to go full bore on this subject. I still will probably write a thousand words about this class, but I will hit a couple of key things.
For a start, Jones is a hell of recruiter, plain and simple. Time will tell how good an evaluator of talent he is, but once he has his board set he goes after it. And it’s not just Jones, John Jancek, Tim Banks, and Jahmile Addae are all great recruiters. The days of Kerry Coombs being the guy going out and getting all the talent are at an end. The fact that the roster is depleted doesn’t hurt things but it is not a be all end all thing.
I would expect a lot of the guys in this class to get looks to play right away. Particularly on defense at safety and at linebacker. Some of the offensive skill position guys will get looks as well, and a couple will see time, if in limited roles.
In this class alone UC has 18 players evaluated at three stars and above. That is more than Kelly picked up in three years here. Kelly generated a lot of the momentum that the program has had over the past few years, but Kelly never cashed it in on the recruiting trail. Jones has in a big way. Right now he is recruiting to a level that most didn’t think was possible at the University of Cincinnati.
As for the facilities question, they help get you in the door, but are rarely the deciding factor for kids
