Women’s Basketball Preview: UConn

The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team heads to Hartford, Connecticut for a 1 PM Super Bowl Sunday showdown with the Number 1 ranked, undefeated UConn Huskies.

CIncinnati enters the game reeling, having dropped two consecutive home conference games. Their record stands at 13-9 overall and 5-4 in the American.

UConn’s team is as loaded as ever.

Their roster includes:

1)Junior forward Katie Lou Samuelson, who is basically a better rebounding version of Jerry West.

2)Senior guard Kia Nurse, who could give Earl Monroe a run for his money.

3) Junior forward Napheesa Collier, whose speed and power is reminiscent of James Worthy.

Plus 10 other players that would be the star on any other team in college basketball.

The Bearcats will have their hands full on Sunday afternoon.
