Wide Receiver | Letters 2003-04

Gino Guidugli never had a shortage of targets while with the Bearcats. From Jon Olinger to Ladrius Vann not to mention Tye Keith skill players abounded. But a relatively unheralded Junior College transfer from Pasadena City College in the shadow of the Rose Bowl had one of the best years of any of them.

In 2004 Thomas became the main weapon for Gino Giduglui in the passing game. And he responded with a monster year hauling in 64 passes for 1,028 yards and 9 TD's. It was one of the best single seasons by a receiver in Bearcats history. His relatively short career with the Bearcats, just two seasons, prevents him from stacking up historically with some of the better receivers in UC history. But his dominating turn in 2004 won't soon be forgotten.
