So go ahead and assume that Gunner will not be taking the snaps against the Hurricanes and that it will be Munchie Legaux or Jarred Evans who wind up starting. The fact that Gunner is not out indefinitely is a plus, but it is going to be a tall task for Evans or Munchie to get the offense to perform a level where winning is possible with the defense playing at such a historically inept level.
It is what it is though, the Bearcats are going to have to survive and make do against the Hurricanes. This is not a vintage Miami team by any stretch of the imagination. But they are miles better than the Bearcats are right now, particularly on defense
