This is a bold move for a Hurricane team that is expected to compete for their first ever ACC Coastal Division title. The expectations are high in Coral Gables because they are always high, but there is perhaps more reason for optimism than usual.
Hurricanes In Depth
Hurricanes In Depth
They have a full compliment of skill position talent. From running back and wide receiver through tight end they have weapons everywhere on offense. The defense is not elite by any stretch of the imagination, but it should be better than it was a year ago.
For the first time since the NCAA clouds lifted the Hurricanes have potential to make some noise on a national level. They are handing the keys to a freshly minted QB who hails from California. That sure worked out the last time.
