Bearcats Recruiting: Tre Scott commits to Cincinnati

Tre Scott is the newest Bearcat

Commit No. 2 for the 2015 hoops class is in.

According to Chad Brendal of Bearcat Journal, '15 F Trevon "Tre" Scott of Georgia committed to the Bearcats just moments ago. Cincinnati now holds commitments from two prospects in the class as Scott joins '15 G Justin Jenifer.

Scott, who was primarily recruited to UC by associate head coach Larry Davis, was on an official visit to Cincinnati this weekend and watched the Bearcats victory against the Toledo Rockets.

The 6'7, 203-pounder chose the Bearcats over offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida Atlantic, George Mason, Georgia, Georgia Southern, La Salle, UAB and Western Kentucky*. The in-state Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets were also showing interest in Scott.

The Mcintosh County Academy (GA) prospect is a three-star prospect in the 2015 class. According to the 247Sports Composite scale, Scott is the 225th overall player in the country, the 59th player at his position and the 15th overall player in the loaded state of Georgia.
