What About Cincinnati to the ACC?
Hey folks! Sorry if this even appears slightly like self-promotion, but just wanted to know what Cincinnati fans thought about the Bearcats possibly getting into the ACC. If the cards fall right, it seems like a possibility to me, but what do all of you think? As an SU fan, I wouldn't mind making the rivalry matter a bit more and it could be a boost for ACC football...

Hey man
It’s not a possibility for the same reason it’s not a possibility for WVU… academics. Cincy is by no means a bad school, but the ACC is only interested in programs ranked in the top 100 (101 for FSU and NCSU). They would never take Cincy over UConn (who is a shoe in) or Rutgers/Notre Dame. That’s if they ever go to 16 to begin with. Football prowess is not a priority of the ACC, but academics and culture are.
I want Cincy to come with Louisville to join WVU in the Big XII. The geography works. The culture is feasible. WVU, Louisville, and Cincy have all been good games in the past and would make excellent travel partners.
