Last night Kevin Brown and Vinny Miller made commitments to the Bearcats. I wasn't around my computer last night so more detail wasn't exactly feasible last night. So lets start with Miller. Miller attends Henry Clay High School in Lexington. He did a little bit of everything for the Bluedevils, at various points playing WR, RB, and QB. He has pretty good speed and agility. In many respects he is like Shaq Washington, just a little bit bigger. Miller camped at UC last week and picked up an offer for his trouble. I would imagine that Miller will stick to the offensive side of the ball either as a slot receiver or even potentially as a running back.
Kevin Brown is a big safety out of Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis. He stands 6'1" and weighs 190 pounds. Brown strikes me as a candidate to move down and become an outside linebacker when he comes to UC. He plays down hill and is a big hitter. While those are excellent traits to have safeties in the current scheme don't do a ton of that at UC. The other big reason I think he slides down to linebacker is that he looks to be a little stiff in the hips to me. He doesn't display the fluidity in his hips that is ideal for a BCS caliber safety. Highlights for the newest Bearcats after the jump.
